MagiKats Llandaff North principal, Jane Williams, said “We’re incredibly proud of Nabiha and she has made exceptional progress in creative writing. She is a pleasure to tutor and we look forward to reading more of her poems and stories.”
THROUGH BLACK CAT`S GREEN EYES.
By Nabiha
My fur coat, a charcoal cloak,
Lungs filled with smoke, black as coke,
My life before, filled with hate and lies,
Fur spots, a deep crimson, a gruesome prize.
They say you`d be cursed if you crossed me,
But I am a calm old oak tree,
An energetic cheetah who may not always be free,
But also, more loyal and loving than any dog you`d see.
Through fog and mist, I will always find my way,
To my owner, I will never stray,
My heart beats true, in all that I do,
With love and loyalty, always anew.
With my two green, emerald orbs,
Whilst the sun rays, my skin absorbs,
As I give a soft purr,
I think of what best friends we were.
Though you may not have loved me,
I will always love you dearly,
I was a small, cute, little kitten,
Smaller than a kitten.
I could jump and prance really high,
Higher than the milky blue sky,
Even though I learnt how to protect you,
You abandoned me far from home and that is true.
