More ways to learn with MagiKats

Online Tutoring is now available!

We’ve added an online tutoring option to MagiKats workshops to offer parents more flexibility on how their child receives their Maths and English tuition.

Using our proven learning methods, students can enrol in tutoring workshops online as an alternative to attending a MagiKats centre. Remote sessions are held in small groups according to age and ability and supervised by a trained mentor in the same way that our in-centre sessions work.  

Online tutoring is available for both Maths and English subjects and follows the same core principles of our face-to-face workshops: building confidence, developing skills, and encouraging a love of learning.

It’s the ideal alternative for parents looking to support their child’s education but perhaps live too far away from a MagiKats centre or have other family commitments that mean they are not able to attend our usual in-person workshops.

Sarah Marsh, Director of Operations said, “We are really excited to offer MagiKats Tutoring to more students and our online programme combines all of the elements children love about our workshops with the added flexibility of learning from home. We recognise that some children and parents may prefer online learning, and this new service caters to that need. There are also benefits from enhancing digital skills at a young age so that as a child moves throughout their schooling, they feel more confident navigating online resources to support their education.”

“This additional service will not replace our face-to-face workshops and they’ll still be run weekly across our network. It’s an additional option for those who prefer to learn online or perhaps cannot reach our centres.”

Students can expect lots of interactive teaching and small group learning that enables every child to succeed. Our sessions are focused on making learning fun and encouraging participation so that children develop skills that support and boost their progress at school.

To join in our online tutoring programme all you need is access to a computer or tablet that has a camera and microphone. Our digital learning platform has been specifically designed for all ages and abilities with easy to follow workshops and a mentor present during each session for interactive support.
