New Opportunity for Children in Portsmouth as New Tuition Centre Opens
A new MagiKats private tuition centre has opened in Portsmouth serving NorthEnd, Copnor, Buckland, Hilsea, Fratton, Stamshaw, Landport, Baffins, Milton and Southsea. This is a fantastic opportunity for local children and the new Principal, Tipu Rahman, is really excited about the quality and value of the tuition the new centre is delivering.
Family man Tipu was a civil servant at the MOD and works for a large IT company but saw the potential in a MagiKats Tuition Centre when looking for learning support for his own children.
MagiKats offers out-of-school tutoring in maths and English for any child from pre-school to GCSE. All the teaching materials and resources have been developed and tested on many children around the country. It’s based around weekly, interactive workshops that support the school curriculum and provide a core skills development programme. With study skills, thinking skills and problem-solving skills included at every level, the effect of the MagiKats programmes spreads across all subjects.
Tipu explains what attracted him to MagiKats as opposed to other tuition providers,
“I was immediately impressed with the structured learning system and the high-quality materials which allow every child to be treated as an individual. It’s face to face to learning in a safe, accessible and dedicated centre meaning children get away from computer screens. But it’s also fun and social, with mentors who are friendly and intelligent and really enjoy teaching children.
The materials and system work and benefit all the children who use them and the workshops are really good value for money. The results are that the children’s confidence improves, and parents can be confident that their money is being well spent.”
Tipu describes himself as relaxed but methodical and passionate about his students and their outcomes. He has also been impressed with the MagiKats franchise HQ who do a lot of the hard work and research and provide the learning materials.
Having opened his new tuition centre, Tipu is excited about helping as many children as possible and already has plans for the future including opening for more days and hours and eventually opening another centre in Fareham. He’s lived and worked in the Portsmouth and Gosport area since 1982 and when he’s not working you may find him with his family, out jogging or attending Islamic study circles and events.
The new Portsmouth centre is now accepting student enrolments. You can find out more here.
